CORE BELIEFS

After more than four decades of driving sales, growth, and market share for startups and small businesses, I hit a wall—burned out physically, mentally, and emotionally. I stepped back and reconciled my record of success with my state of mind and realized the problem wasn’t the work or the customers; it was the cultures I had worked in.

I’d been working for so‑called “leaders” who controlled rather than trusted, killing autonomy, stalling growth, and draining all sense of fulfillment. That epiphany changed everything.

I realized two very important things: first, I had lost my purpose, and second, the cultures I worked in had killed my sense of fulfillment and engagement. I saw that business culture is the core driver of a business’s success or failure—the difference between a fully engaged team and employees just trading time for a paycheck.

Real leaders build cultures of engagement grounded in Clarity, Trust, and Autonomy, where people have purpose and room to shine. That’s the kind of growth‑based culture I now help founders and small business owners create so their companies grow and their teams thrive.
